Vicksburg police make two arrests in storage unit break-ins


Vicksburg Police Department investigators have arrested two local men in connection with break-ins at Red Dot Self-Storage, 3434 Wisconsin Ave.
Investigators arrested Christopher Shaun Johnson, 34, Tuesday, June 16, and Timothy Ray Wilkerson, 29, Wednesday, June 17. Each were charged with two counts of commercial burglary.
Johnson appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter Wednesday. She set his bond at $15,000 and bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
Wilkerson is being held without bond until he appears before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court Friday, June 19, 2020.
In a separate incident Wednesday, officers responded to the 1000 block of Walnut Street at 4:32 p.m. officers about a stolen vehicle. The complainant reported someone stole a 2012 Ford Taurus valued at $5000.
