Vicksburg police respond to auto burglary and shots fired calls

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department responded to an auto burglary and two shots fired calls on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
At 10:14 p.m. officers responded to Popeye’s at 3309 Pemberton Blvd. for an auto burglary. The victim stated the driver’s window of his 2001 Toyota 4runner was shattered and $300 was missing from his center console.
Officers said no signs of suspicious activity or evidence of shots fired was found on either of shots fired calls.
- At 12:50 a.m. officers responded to Lake Street
- At 7:14 p.m. officers responded to Wisteria Drive.
