Vicksburg police respond to multiple burglaries and a car theft

The Vicksburg Police Department has reported the following incidents from Friday, March 6, through Sunday, March 8.

On Friday, officers responded to a commercial burglary in the 4400 block of Rifle Range Road. The complainant said some assorted tools had been stolen.

A residential burglary was reported Friday in the 2600 block of Reed Street where the resident state some furniture had been stolen.

Officers responded Friday to a car theft in the 1100 block of Bowmar Avenue where a silver Acura was reported stolen. The vehicle was found abandoned in the county a short time after the theft.

On Sunday, officers responded to a residential burglary in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard. The resident said some lawn equipment, a television and a rifle were stolen.
