Vicksburg police respond to three burglaries Saturday

The Vicksburg Police Department reported the following burglaries occurred Saturday, Aug. 15

At 10:41 a.m. officers responded to the Carr Central Apartments, 1805 Cherry St., in reference to an auto burglary. The victim stated someone broke into her car and stole her wallet containing $200.

At 4:33 p.m. officers responded to an address in the 1500 block of Baum Street in reference to a residential burglary. The homeowner reported someone broke in taking two televisions, two laptop computers, a surround sound speaker, purses, shoes and $3,500 cash.

At 11 p.m., officers again responded to the Carr Central Apartments at 1805 Cherry St., for a second auto burglary. The victim reported that someone broke into her 2018 Nissan Versa and stole a Dooney & Bourke purse and a pair of Air Jordan shoes.
