Vicksburg police searching for man with assault weapon

Vicksburg police officers are involved in a manhunt in the area around Buck Street off Grove Street.

At around 2:15 p.m., Vicksburg Warren 911 received numerous calls of a man dressed in all black carrying an assault weapon. Initial reports indicated one person received a leg injury.

Please use caution in the area. If you see anything suspicious, dial 911 immediately.
