Vicksburg resident arrested for embezzlement

Jazzlyn Parker, 23, of Vicksburg was arrested Friday and charged with embezzlement.

According to a press release from the Vicksburg Police Department, Parker’s charge stems from money taken from Pizza Hut.

Parker was responsible for bank deposits at the 3520 Pemberton Square Boulevard location and is accused of taking a total of $6,785.25 from them.

Parker appeared before Judge Penny Lawson on Friday and was given a $5,000 bond.

Her case was bound to the Warren County Grand Jury.
