Vicksburg resident arrested for possession of cocaine
A Vicksburg resident was arrested for possession of cocaine during a traffic stop on Tuesday.
At 4:12 p.m., Vicksburg resident Carl Williams, 68, was stopped on Mission 66 near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Williams was found in possession of .56 grams of cocaine. Vicksburg Police Department Narcotics Division took him into custody and charged him with possession of a controlled substance.
Williams is being held without bond until his initial appearance in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Thursday.
