Vicksburg resident arrested for possession of methamphetamine

A Vicksburg resident was taken into custody by Warren County Authorities on Tuesday for possession of methamphetamine.

According to Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace, at around 4 a.m. on Tuesday, Deputy Sheriff Dustin Keyes initiated a traffic stop of a Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Warriors Trail and Highway 27.

The driver, Curtis Wayne Tippen, 48, of Vicksburg, was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. Tippen was taken into custody and charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Tippen was given a $10,000 bond by Justice Court.
