Vicksburg Warren School District hosts annual Teacher Recruitment Fair

From the Vicksburg Warren School District:

The Vicksburg Warren School District welcomes educators who are interested in joining our dynamic team of teachers at a Teacher Recruitment Fair on Saturday,  Feb. 8.

The fair will be held in the Warren Central Intermediate School gym at 2147 Sherman Ave. in Vicksburg from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This event is for certified teachers or other degreed persons who are seeking to become teachers. Principals will be on hand to interview attendees for teaching positions. Certified teachers are asked to bring copies of their resume, and their current Mississippi Educator License or evidence that they will have a license by Aug. 1, 2020. Other degreed professionals seeking alternate routes to teaching, should bring a transcript for review.

The District is seeking to fill the following positions:

administrators, lead teachers, PK – 12 teachers, academy coaches, interventionists, special education, ROTC, coaches, career and technical education.
