In a social media post Monday, the Vicksburg Warren School District announced it will be providing meals to students participating in distance learning.

To facilitate meal delivery for those students, the district requests parents or guardians fill out an online form.

The district “is committed to serving students nutritious meals each school day,” the district wrote on its Facebook page. “Since many of our students will be participating in distance learning, we are happy to announce that we will be delivering free meals beginning soon after the start of school to our students who are learning at home. Additional details (start date, times, locations, etc.) will be released as they become available.

“If you would like your child to receive these meals, you must complete this form. Please submit one form for each child in your home.”
