Vicksburg welcomes special Presidential Cruise for American Queen voyages

The American Queen riverboat is docking in Vicksburg at 8 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17. This will be a special Presidential Cruise for American Queen Voyages.

The Vicksburg Convention and Visitors Bureau has organized a special Mardi Gras welcome for this special event.

The volunteer riverboat greeters will arrive at 8 a.m. and pass out Mardi Gras beads and masks for the passengers. There will also be live music by Kevin Lewis to play jazz and New Orleans-themed music on the saxophone. The riverboat is expecting over 200 passengers on this special voyage.
