Vicksburg YMCA youth basketball team honors Kobe Bryant

The Golden Eagles honored fallen basketball star Kobe Bryant by writing his jersey numbers, 8 and 24, on the backs of their hands before their game.
Bryant is the only player in NBA history to have two jersey numbers retired with the same team. He changed numbers, going from No. 8 to No. 24, midway through his career, CBS Sports reports.
The Golden Eagles is a group of third and fourth graders who play basketball at the Vicksburg YMCA. As instructed by YMCA Program Director Wayne Scott, before they played, the Golden Eagles and Fast Breakers held a moment of silence for Bryant.
Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others died Sunday in a helicopter crash.
The Golden Eagles won the game against the Fast Breakers 37-24.
