Vicksburg Young Professionals host a Delicious Mystery with the Heritage Guild

Get ready for a tasty mystery with the Vicksburg Young Professionals. 

On Nov. 12. the VYP, a program of the Vicksburg Warren County Chamber of Commerce, will host “A Delicious Mystery” with the Vicksburg Heritage Guild. The event begins at 4:45 p.m. at Walnut Hills, 1415 Adams St., with guests taste tasting several house desserts. 

Afterward, attendees will enjoy an informational program on the mystery of Vicksburg’s pierced columns. The columns are neither square nor round and usually have a middle that is cut into a design. In 1987, the Vicksburg Foundation for Historic Preservation said that only 50 pierced columns remained in Vicksburg.

In addition, the event will feature a digital scavenger hunt and walking tour of a historic building saved by the Vicksburg Heritage Guild.
