Vicksburg’s Nicholas Council now playing basketball at Mississippi Delta CC

Vicksburg resident Nicholas Council has found a new basketball home at Mississippi Delta Community College.

Council, who was injured last season at Hinds Community College, will now be playing for the Trojans when their season begins on Nov. 1.

“I really just look at it as a blessing and an opportunity to start off fresh and I feel like we can turn this organization around,” Council said.

In high school, Council played for St. Aloysius, Vicksburg, Tara and finished up at Provine where he averaged nearly 15 points per game.
