VIDEO: Ruby Thomas celebrates her birthday with a parade

On Saturday afternoon, May 29, 2021 a large gathering of family and friends came together to celebrate the 61st Birthday of Ruby Thomas.

Thomas was carried through the neighborhood on a custom float surrounded by loved ones as the gathering conducted a parade in her honor.

Thomas is well known for her work with at risk youth in her position with Prevention Services in Northern Louisiana.

Samantha and Thomas Parker were on hand to join in the well wishes.
