Video: Watch the Gatorettes last performance of the basketball season

With the Vicksburg Junior High School having to forfeit their upcoming games at the Little Six Tournament due to quarantine, the Gatorettes dance team has already showcased their last performance of the basketball season.

The Gatorettes is a dance team coached by Monica Williams. They are very much a part of Vicksburg Junior High School and bring pep and school spirit to rally their classmates, performing during halftime throughout the boy’s and girl’s basketball games.

The team unknowingly held their last performance on Jan. 10. With the Vicksburg-Warren School District School Board voting to instate a mandatory five-day quarantine measure, the basketball season was cut short.
