Videos show violence at the Uptown Vicksburg Mall
Vicksburg police say they are ‘taking back’ the Uptown Vicksburg Mall, where unsupervised teenagers have been wreaking havoc. On Friday, Police Chief Penny Jones announced that any children under the age of 18 unaccompanied by a parent or guardian would be held at the police station and that parents could be found criminally liable.
Chief Jones cited Mississippi Code 97-5-39, contributing to the neglect or delinquency of a child.
This announcement comes after three individuals were arrested outside the mall last weekend. Below is reader-submitted video of the fighting that took place there. Viewer discretion is advised.
