Viking Blake Channell had a great week at bat

Warren Central High baseball player Blake Channell had a great game at the plate on Thursday for the Vikings.

Channell went 2 for 2 in WC’s 15-0 win over VHS as he also drove in two run scores. He also managed to get two RBIs in the easy win for the Vikings. Just a few days before the VHS game, Channell also went 2 for 3 on Monday with one RBI against Natchez where the Vikings won 11-1.

The left fielder is currently in his sophomore season playing under head coach Randy Broome and WC will host Tupelo in the Class 6A playoffs on Friday.
