Vikings took down Lake Cormorant to advance to the second round

Warren Central High School baseball team advances to the second round of the playoffs after taking down Lake Cormorant 8-3 on Saturday.

The Vikings came away with 10 hits in the win as Maddox Lynch(2), Cole Autrey, and Ryan Nelson all hit doubles while Conner Watkins nailed a triple. Watkins and Lynch(2 RBIs) both went 2 for 4 while Nelson(1 RBI), Lester Martin, Hayes Loper(1 RBI), Jack Esparza, Autrey(1 RBI) and Talan Patel all had a hit.

Brooks Willoughby struck out seven batters and Lynch struck out four.
