Village of Delta held community cleanup
This morning the Village of Delta held a community clean up day to pick up litter throughout the town’s roadways, ditches and other targeted areas. The group met at City Hall at 8 a.m. and worked till around 11 a.m.
When the event was over, Mayor Ashley posted on the Delta First Responders Facebook page stating:
A BIG THANK YOU, to all the volunteers who help with the Village Of Delta community cleanup day.
What an awesome time cleaning the streets of Delta. Everyone loves a neat, clean, safe community.
Young and Elderly participated in this event, we shared laughs and stories. Make plans to be involved, next time we have an event.
The donuts and coffee were delicious.
Please help keep Delta clean, by doing your part to clean your lot.
