Visitation, arrangements scheduled for fallen Brandon Officer Randy Tyler

The announcement of funeral services for Officer Randy Tyler, who died while serving with the Madison Police Department, was made known late on Monday evening.

The visitation to honor Officer Tyler will occur on Thursday at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home, located in Madison. This event will be held privately, limited to close family and loved ones.

The funeral service will be held the following day at the Parkway Pentecostal Church, where Officer Tyler’s family, invited friends and fellow law enforcement officers will gather to pay their respects. Following the service, Officer Tyler will be laid to rest at the Natchez Trace Cemetery.

The death of Officer Tyler occurred during a standoff in Brandon last Thursday.
