VJHS basketball player Michael Johnson outscored entire Bulls team on Tuesday

Vicksburg Junior High School basketball player Michael Johnson led the Gators to a 44-33 victory over the Warren County Bulls on Tuesday.

The eighth-grader managed to put up 37 points, securing more points than the entire Bulls team combined.

Since the end of his seventh-grade season a few months ago, Johnson’s basketball skills have continued to improve in preparation for the upcoming season.

Johnson currently plays for head coach Jerdon Hardiman and he is also the starting quarterback for the VJHS football team.
