VJHS girl’s basketball team hosting tryouts Thursday and Friday

Vicksburg Junior High School Girl’s basketball team will be hosting tryouts for current sixth and seventh graders on February 25-26.

Tryouts will be held at VJHS from 4:00-5:45 p.m. and participants must be present on both days.

The VJHS coaching staff is calling for current sixth graders who attend Bowmar, South Park, Vicksburg Intermediate School, and Warrenton Elementary to please participate in a chance to join a great program.

The seventh grade team this year went undefeated with a perfect 5-0 record.

The basketball team will be coached by Satoria McPhearson and Jennifer Davenport-Stewart and they are looking for energetic ladies with a winning spirit to join their program.
