VJHS is headed to the Little Six Championship

Vicksburg Junior High School boy’s basketball team is headed to the Little Six Championship Game after defeating Madison 42-40 on Thursday.

Jaquez Jones led the Gators with 14 points, followed by Marlyn Foy who put up 12. Wallace Curry and Jordan Clay both scored 10 points in the win.

Those who wish to support the Gators can travel to Pearl High School on Saturday where they will play Northwest Rankin at 11:30 a.m.
