VPD announces additional arrest in Ethel Street shooting and stolen car case

The Vicksburg Police Department has announced the arrest of two individuals involved in the following cases:

Second Defendant Arrested for Shooting

D’Angelo Frazier, 15, of Vicksburg was arrested Friday, February 17, 2023, for robbing and shooting a man on Ethel Street on Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

Frazier appeared in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, February 17, 2023, charged with Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault. Judge Angela Carpenter set his bond at $750,000 and bound him over to the Warren County Grand Jury.

Man Arrested for Possession of Stolen Car

Demarcus McDaniel, 29, of Vicksburg was arrested Friday, February 17, 2023, on a charge of Receiving of Stolen Property after he was found in possession of a stolen 2004 Buick Regal.

McDaniel appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court on Friday, February 17, 2023, where he received a $25,000 bond and was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
