VPD announces amnesty period for past due fines

VICKSBURG, Miss. (Vicksburg Daily News) – The City of Vicksburg Municipal Court and Vicksburg Police Department are holding an amnesty period from August 1 to October 1, 2021.

If you owe past due fines and a contempt of court warrant has been issued for your arrest, you can avoid being arrested and have your warrant dismissed by voluntarily going to the Municipal Court Clerk’s office during the amnesty period and paying the fine(s) in full.
