VPD arrests Vicksburg man on multiple drug felonies

A Vicksburg man has been charged with multiple drug felonies after a bust Friday.
Investigators with the Vicksburg Police Department executed a search warrant at 323 Bayou Boulevard Friday, the result of an on-going narcotics investigation.
Inside the residence, officers recovered approximately 2 pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, 522 oxycodone pills and $880 cash.
Police charged the resident, James Edward Jones, 45, with one count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession of marijuana with intent, and one count of trafficking in controlled substance, oxycodone.
Jones, who was out on parole with the Mississippi Department of Corrections, will be held without bond until his initial court appearance.
