VPD Crime Report

On March 4, 2011 at 9:20 am VPD arrested two 15 year old juveniles in the 200 block of Ivy Circle after police responded to the report of a burglary in progress. Stolen from the residence was 3 watches, and X BOX 360 game system and a Phillips DVD player; the items were recovered at the time of the arrest. The juveniles were charged with Residential Burglary and Daytime Curfew Violation. Both were placed in the Warren County Youth Detention Center.

On March 4, 2011 at 12:36 pm in the 3000 block of Common Circle VPD took a report of an Auto Burglary in which a Pioneer C/D player and 2 Rockford Fosgate 12″ sub woofers were reported stolen from a 1999 Ford Explorer.  At 3:23 pm in the 100 block Sherwood took a report of a residential burglary in which a Toshiba Laptop and 3 gold necklaces were reported stolen.

On March 5, 2011 at 10:27 am in the 600 block of Cain Ridge Road VPD took a report of a residential burglary in which a gold necklace, 3 baseball caps and $500.00 in cash were reported stolen.  At 10:55 pm in the 100 block of Alcorn Drive took a report of a residential burglary in which a HP laptop was reported stolen.

On March 6, 2011 at 2:51 am VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 100 block of Sherwood in which a Toshiba laptop, a WII game system, an I POD and a 32″ TV were reported stolen. At 9:07 am took a report of an auto burglary in the 3000 block of Drummond Street in which a Gerber multitool, and LED flashlight and assorted CD’s were reported stolen.

On March 7, 2011 at 1:55 am VPD arrested Kevin Thomas, age 30, of 13 Young Alley was arrested for Parole Violation from North Carolina after police responded to LD’s at 1111Mulberry Street to the report of a suspicious person. After running Thomas on NCIC police found the outstanding arrest warrant. Thomas was placed in the Warren County Jail pending extradition.
