VPD Crime Report

On March 7, 2011 at 6:09 pm VPD took a report of a Burglary of an unoccupied Dwelling in the 550 block of HWY 61 South in which a GE refrigerator and a Hot Point stove were reported stolen. On March 8, 2011 at 2:06 am VPD arrested Adleine Bingham, age 21, of 300 North Popular Street for Aggravated Domestic Violence after police responded to River Region Medical Center in reference to an assault victim. Police found that Earl Jones, age 26, of 1900 Baldwin Ferry Road had cut cut across the abdomen after being involved in a altercation with Bingham, his girlfriend, while at 780 HWY 61 North apt. 16 H after arguing over a set of keys. Jones was cut with a broken glass mug  and was treated and released. Bingham is being held without bond due to being out on two felony bonds at this time.
