VPD Crime Report – May 19, 2011

May 16, 2011 3:28 am – VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle in which a WII game system, 10 WII games, a Nintendo 64 and a 42″ LG TV were reported stolen. May 17, 2011 11:04 am – VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 2200 block of Rogers Street in which $500.00 cash was reported stolen. 3:34 pm – VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle in which a 42″ Sanyo TV and a 19″ Emerson TV were reported stolen. 6:28 pm – VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 200 Block of Berryman Road in which a WII game sysem and a 42″ Olevia TV were reported stolen. May 18, 2011 2 pm – VPD arrested Margie McClendon, age 34 of 4920 Halls Ferry Road apt. 51, on a Capias Warrant from the District Attorneys Office for Uttering of Forgery in which she is accused of cashing two checks totaling $570.00 at Mutual Credit Union located at 1604 Cherry Street on September 8, 2010. McClendon is being held in the Warren County Jail with no bond pending her initial appearance in Circuit Court. 7 pm – VPD arrested Anthony Buford, age 39 of 1001 Polk Street, for Aggravated Domestic Violence after police responded to 2008 Ford Street in reference to an assault. Buford struck his ex-girlfriend, Paula Evans age 46 of 2008 Ford Street, in the face causing her to fall and strike her head on the concrete. Evans was transported to River Region for her injuries and later transferred to UMC for further treatment. Buford is being held in the Warren County Jail with no bond pending his initial appearance in Municipal Court on May, 20, 2011.]]]]> ]]>
