VPD Crime Report – May 23, 2011

May 20, 2011 3:39 pm VPD arrested Michael Johnson, age 29 of 1110 Second North, on a warrant for the Sale of Cocaine after in undercover narcotics investigation in the 100 block of Warrenton Road. Johnson was held on a $25,000.00 bond. 4:01 pm VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle in which a Gateway Laptop and a PSP 3 were reported stolen. May 21, 2011 4:15 am VPD arrested Michael Powell, age 54 of 1000 West Yellow Jacket Road Rockwell, Tx, following a traffic stop on Old Hwy 27 and South Frontage Road. During the traffic stop the officer observed Powell throw somethign down and upon investigating found it to be crack cocaine. Powell was held on a $20,000.00 bond. May 22, 2011 1:35 am VPD took a report of an auto burglary in the 4100 block of I-20 Frontage Road in which a GAP purse and $25.00 was reported stolen. 9:03 am VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 100 block of Elizabeth Circle in which an XBOX 360, 3 XBOX 360 games and a Sanyo flat screen TV were reported stolen. 3:04 pm VPD arrested Jennifer Scarber, age 37 of 1156 Shiloh Road Port Gibson, MS, for Felony Shoplifting after she attempted to leave Wal-Mart with $741.00 in merchandise without paying for it. Scarber was held on a $2,500.00 bond.]]]]> ]]>
