VPD Crime Report – May 26, 2011

May 24, 2011 11:28 am VPD took a report of a stolen automobile in the 500 block of Dabney Street. The vehicle was described as a 1998 Buick Lesabre green in color with Mississippi tag WBD352. 4:43 pm VPD took a report of a residential burglary in the 800 block of Clay Street in which a 32″ Vizio TV was reported stolen. May 25, 2011 4:26 pm VPD took a report of an auto burglary at 1217 Clay Street, Clark Gas, of a 2003 GMC Yukon in which entry was gained through an unlocked door; stolen was a purse containing $20.00 cash which had been left on the front seat. 4:33 pm VPD arrested Shyvonta Goods, age 22 of 780 Hwy 61 N apt 21B, and Aretha Williams, age 26 same address, for Felony Child Abuse after a complaint was filed on May 24, 2011 after a 23 month old child was taken to River Region unresponsive. The child was later transferred to UMC for head trauma. Both are being held without bond pending their initial; appearance on May, 27, 2011in city court. May 26, 2011 6:30 am VPD took a reported  of an auto burglary in the 1700 block of Cherry Street of a 2000 Ford Expedition after entry was gained by breaking a window; stolen was a purse which had been left on the front seat.]]]]> ]]>
