The Vicksburg Police Department extradited a man from Louisiana to face charges of possessing a stolen firearm in connection with an August incident.

On Saturday, August 22, 2020, Jaylon Gray, 23, was arrested after he allegedly pointed a firearm at other vehicles on Interstate 20. Since then, police determined the weapon in his possession had been previously reported stolen in Tallulah, Louisiana.

Gray, a resident of Tallulah, was extradited from the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center Wednesday on one charge of possession of a stolen firearm.

He appeared before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court Wednesday and received a $25,000 bond. Lawson bound him over to the Warren County grand jury.
