A shooting at Whataburger on Sunday night has yet to be reported by the Vicksburg Police Department.
Around 11 p.m., units with the Vicksburg Police Department responded to Whataburger on Halls Ferry, where countless people reported shots were fired.
The VPD has yet to release information about that call to the public.
On Saturday morning, the VPD released a partial report on an incident near Levee Street, where units with the VPD were parked. The report stated that “Shoots fired” at a local bar, which is currently suing the city for slandering its reputation and violating its rights.
The Vicksburg Daily News will update both stories if the VPD, in an effort to be transparent and accountable, ever reports what actually happened near Levee Street or Whataburger.
