VPD in pursuit of juvenile wielding handgun

Vicksburg police are currently in pursuit of a juvenile with an handgun near the New Main apartments.

The juvenile ran into the woods in an attempt to escape authorities, however the pursuit is ongoing.  Police recovered the handgun, and have identified the individual.  His identity has not been released at this time, nor has the incident that instigated the pursuit.
