VPD incident report: armed robbery, thefts and burglaries

The Vicksburg Police Department reports the following incidents occurred from Friday, July 17, through Sunday, July 19.
On Sunday at 1:18 a.m., officers responded to a residence on Cossar Court for a report of an armed robbery. The victim stated a Black male entered the home with a knife and took a wallet and credit card.
Friday, at 6:10 p.m., officers responded to Mile Marker 1 of Interstate 20 for a case of grand larceny. The victim reported someone stole a 16-foot trailer with a 2019 Honda 420 Rancher, as well as a set of aluminum folding ramps. Total value of the stolen items is estimated to be $9,400.
Friday at 7:05 a.m. officers responded to the 2000 block of Cherry Street because of an auto theft. The victim stated someone stole a 1999 Toyota Camry after the keys were left in the center console.
Saturday morning just after midnight, officers responded to the New Main Apartments, 2727 Alcorn Drive because of a residential burglary. The victim reported someone broke into their apartment and stole a container with loose change, an identification card, a Direct express card and a prescription box of Suboxone pills.
Friday at 5:27 p.m. officers responded to Shaw’s Diesel Performance, 4295 Halls Ferry Road, because of an auto burglary. The victim stated someone stole a 9mm Ruger handgun from a 2012 Dodge Ram.
