VPD incident report: auto theft and burglaries

The Vicksburg Police Department reports the following incidents for Tuesday, Aug. 4.

At 2:29 p.m., officers responded to River Oaks Apartments, 2518 Drummond St., in reference to an auto theft. The victim reported someone stole a 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid.

Officers responded to two auto burglaries Tuesday:

  • At 7:23 a.m., officers responded to Heritage House, 3103 Wisconsin Ave., where the victim reported someone broke into a 2015 Chrysler 200, stealing a debit card, EBT card and driver’s license.
  • At 2:31 p.m., officers responded to River Oaks Apartments, 2518 Drummond St., where the victim stated someone entered a 2013 Toyota Camry stealing two pairs of shoes valued at $300 and a comforter valued at $60.
