VPD incident report: residential burglary and auto theft

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department responded to the following incidents Wednesday, July 15.

At 12:26 a.m. officers responded to an address in the 1500 block of Walnut Street in reference to a residential burglary. The resident reported an unknown black male stole her purse from her bedroom.

At 9:12 a.m. officers responded to S & S Automotive, 3660 U.S. Highway 61 South in reference to two incidents of auto theft. The complainant stated someone stole a 2006 Lincoln Navigator and a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban from the business’ parking lot.
