VPD investigates Cherry Street auto burglary

A report of theft had Vicksburg police officers on scene on Cherry Street on Wednesday.

Just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a residence at the 1200 block of Cherry Street for an auto burglary report.

When officers arrived, they met with the female victim who reported damage and theft from her bus.

The report indicates that a window was broken on her bus and the radio and a set of jumper cables were missing from within.
