VPD investigates shooting and larceny
On Thursday, officers responded to a call to the City of Vicksburg Animal Shelter in response to a call involving bullet holes in the building.
Officers arrived shortly before 11 a.m. at 70 Old Mill Road, where five bullet holes were located inside the structure.
The complaint alleges that two people were inside the building when someone began to shoot into it.
On Friday, officers with Vicksburg Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Baldwin Ferry Road in reference to a theft.
An iPhone 11 was reported stolen. Reports indicate that an unnamed male pried open her front door with a screwdriver. The phone was valued at $1200.
