VPD makes an arrest for felony marijuana possession

Officers with the Vicksburg Police Department arrested a man for marijuana possession Monday.

Officers of the Narcotics/Net Team arrested Zackery Bryant, 32, at 12:35 a.m. Monday following a traffic stop.

Originally arrested for outstanding misdemeanor warrants, Bryant was found it be in possession of a felony amount of marijuana.

Bryant appeared before Judge Angela Carpenter in Vicksburg Municipal Court Monday on a charge of felony possession of marijuana. Carpenter bound him over to the Warren County grand jury on a $30,000 bond.
