VPD reports a shoplifting incident plus business and residential burglaries

The Vicksburg Police Department has reported the following crimes occurred Friday, Dec. 11, and Saturday, Dec. 12:

Friday at 7:54 a.m. officers were dispatched to 1650 Rosa A Temple Drive in reference to a business burglary. The complainant reported that someone broke into the office trailer and stole a 43-inch flat-screen LG television and a laptop computer.

The Cinnamon Tree at 1322 Washington St., was the site of a shoplifting theft Friday at about 2:35 p.m. The complainant stated that two suspects stole eight Hobo brand wallets valued at $125 each.

Saturday at 6:09 p.m., officers responded to an address on Elizabeth Circle in reference to a residential burglary. The resident stated someone broke into the home, stealing a gun and clothing.
