Numerous Vicksburg Police officers responded to the Circle K on N. Frontage at Indiana Avenue for a call involving a former Greyhound passenger who was removed from the bus on Wednesday.

At about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, several units from the Vicksburg Police Department responded to reports of suspicious activity at the gas station. The business sits just above the Greyhound drop-off area. Radio traffic described a young black male with tattoos on his face wearing a gray hoodie and black jeans.

When law enforcement arrived, they recognized the individual as the one at the center of several Greyhound-related calls on Wednesday. During the previous incident, police interacted with him and, at one point, had to subdue him. He was reportedly kicked off of his Greyhound for indecent exposure and has been banned from all Greyhounds as a result.

Greyhound’s return to Vicksburg in October was hailed as a bonus for the community but irresponsible riders have plagued area shops. Greyhound does not have a facility at the drop-off location. Passengers are left to their own devices while waiting for their next bus.

Anyone wishing to provide assistance to the young man can find him pulling a red suitcase near the drop-off location in Vicksburg.
