VPD responds to multiple thefts and burglaries Tuesday

On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at 11:27 a.m. officers responded to an address on Pittman Road in reference to a burglary. The homeowner reported that someone broke in by breaking a window and stole a 42-inch Samsung television and a PlayStation with four games. 

At 11:43 a.m. officers responded another burglary at the Red Dot Storage facility at 3434 Wisconsin Avenue. The victim reported someone broke into her storage unit and stole a 65-inch Samsung television, eight pairs of shoes, and two Michael Kors purses. 

VPD also took a report in reference to a theft that occurred at the El Paso Mexican Restaurant at 3419 Pemberton Square Boulevard at 10:04 p.m. The victim stated that someone stole her purse with her 9MM Taurus semi-auto handgun.
