VWSD announces Tuesday school closures

Due to incoming weather events, the Vicksburg-Warren School District announced it will close its campuses Tuesday.

After consulting with the National Weather Service, Warren County Emergency Management and others, all VWSD schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.

The National Weather Service has advised that dangerous weather including damaging winds up to 80MPH, possible tornadoes, and heavy rain are expected. Travel conditions may be unsafe well beyond the morning and power outages are likely. Therefore, schools and offices will be closed the entire day.

There will be no after school activities, including tutoring services.
