VWSD to return to all in-person learning Nov. 1

Students at all Vicksburg-Warren schools will return to the classrooms on Nov. 1 as directed by the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE).

At the beginning of the school year, the MDE released a state-wide policy that allowed districts to offer hybrid scheduling options for students through Oct. 29.  With cases of coronavirus showing a steady decline throughout the state, the MDE has not extended the policy to allow virtual learning options for Mississippi K-12 students in public schools.
