Walmart’s Wellness Day will offer a variety of immunizations and vaccinations

Walmart’s quarterly Wellness Day will offer a variety of vaccinations and immunizations for those wishing to take advantage.

The quarterly Wellness Day on Sep. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will offer vaccines and immunizations for many different illnesses. Over 4,700 Walmart pharmacies across the country will be participating.

“Our goal is to make this easy and convenient. Insurance is not required to receive a COVID-19 vaccination, which is available at no cost, and other vaccines are covered under most major insurance plans,” a newsletter from Walmart read.

This one-day event will offer the following:

• Flu shots and free COVID-19 vaccines.
• Affordable immunizations, which will include measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox), HPV, tetanus, whooping cough (TDAP) and more.
• Wellness resources and an opportunity to talk with pharmacists.
