Warrant issued for Battlefield Campground shooting suspect

A warrant has been issued for Michael Molinari. Molinari is wanted for aggravated assault relating to the shooting at Battlefield Campground.

At around 3 p.m. on Sunday, two brothers were involved in an altercation at Battlefield Campground, located near 4400 I-20 Frontage Road.

Molinari is said to have shot his sibling in the leg and fled the scene.

The gunshot victim was transported to Merit Health with non-life-threatening injuries.

Molinari is described as a 47-year-old white male, 5’10” in height, weighing approximately 180 lbs.

He was last seen driving a 2006 Honda Ridgeline.
