Warrant issued in October 2020 slaying of Karl Michael Singleton
The Vicksburg Police Department held a press conference on Friday, where it was announced that a suspect has been identified in the shooting death of Karl Michael Singleton that took place on Enchanted Drive on Oct. 19 of last year. Singleton was just seven days shy of turning 21 when he was gunned down at his home.
“All I want is justice for my child, and anybody else’s children out there,” said Singleton’s mother Tina Graves. “This is ridiculous, it’s senseless. Put the guns down, that’s all I ask.”
A warrant has been issued for the suspect and turned over to State Marshals, who are assisting with the investigation.
Chief Penny Jones said that no further information would be made available while the investigation is ongoing, and reaffirmed that investigators are revisiting cold cases and “intend to make arrests.”
