Warren Central boy’s track & field takes 3 firsts at Titan Invitational

The Warren Central High School boys track and field team participated in the Titan Invitation Track Meet yesterday in Ridgeland, Miss.

Many of the Vikings placed first to third against athletes from Canton, Yazoo, Ridgeland, Loyd Star, Velma Jackson and McLaurin high schools.

WCHS Varsity Boys Track Results:

• Datreion Kelly – First Place, 100 Meters
• Samuel Terrett – Second Place, 1600 Meters
• Joshua Griffin – First Place, 300 Meter Hurdles
• Joshua Griffin – Second Place, 110 Hurdles
• Second Place, 4X200 Meter Relay  (Jaylin Bohanon, Erin Wash, Quincy Turner and Datreion Kelly)
• Daniel Smothers – First Place, Triple Jump, distance of 42-feet-1-inch
